Vintage Steamer trunk
One of two large and impressive Vintage Steamer Trunks circa 1920. This the first trunk of this size I have seen, and unusually offers full length hanging inside.
It is constructed of thin plywood with a green Leather Cloth (canvas) finish to the outside, and protected with wooden runners and metal straps.
We have restored the trunk to it former glory and replaced the interior lining and leather handles and it is now in good condition.
It measures 145 cm high by 75 cm wide by 55 cm deep.
This would be a stunning way to show off your clothes, the front panel detaches to reveal a generous sized wardrobe with full length hanging. Pictured below with a gorgeous vintage flapper dress from our neighbours Velvet Atilier
