An early C20th Brass Dugdills Lamp.
Fantastic example of Dugdills 1907 patent lamp.
This has an unusual xxxx brass base with the Dugdills stamp supporting two articulating arms and a vitreous enamel green shade .
Both the shade and arm adjust for angle via the distinctive cogs.
This example in brass is most probably meant for use in an office or bank as it is somewhat fancier than later models.
These early Dugdills lamps are rare and much in demand for their blending of aesthetics and functional form.
In very good vintage condition this has been rewired for UK use with a 1 metre three core earthed gold braid cable.
This lamp measure cm high extended and has a diameter shade.
