A set of six 19th Century hummingbird watercolours in maple frames.
These decorative and highly desirable watercolours date from the mid to late nineteenth century.They have been very well executed,
probably by a well studied amatuer.
The species of Hummingbird pictured include The Ardnet, The Tufted Neck,Double Crested ,Blue Throated Sabre Wing,Double Crested and Rujous Bellied.
The pictures are in good and original condition, there is some foxing but otherwise they retain their vibrancy.
