A very stylish Jacques Adnet Lamp circa 1950 from France. Really pleased to find one of these desirable Adnet lamps.
It has a leather shade, brass support and leather covered base.The base has a lid which lifts to reveal a small compartment for storage.
The lamp is in very good original condition and has been rewired with vintage style black 3 core braided flex for UK use.
It measures cm high. The shade has a diameter of cm.
Jacques Adnet (1901-1984) is considered one of France’s most important Interior Designers of the Art Deco and Mid Century periods. His designs have a really classic look and he is known for his innovative use of materials especially leather.
