Mahogany Globe Wernicke Bookcase
A superb four section Mahogany Globe Wernicke Bookcase Circa 1920.In very good original condition. Unusually this has deep cut bevelled glazing, which was an expensive option when it was made. It has great colour and with its large bottom section makes this a highly desirable Wernicke Bookcase.
These are sometimes referred to as lawyers bookcase but were often used in home libraries as well. It comprises of four glazed sections.
Section one 25cm high 29cm deep.
Section two 25cm high 29cm deep.
Section Three 31cm high 29cm deep.
Section four 39cm high 37cm deep Overall height 153cm width 87cm depth 40 cm.
